We thought we should start by clarifying our vision for the game. We have two exciting modes: Round Survival and Operations. Round Survival is a 1 - 4 player game mode where players must survive waves of enemies, earning points to progress through the level and solve a main quest line. Our first level is set in SCP-1678, also known as “Unlondon.” Operations is a strictly 4-player mode inspired by Destiny’s raids. Each Operation is a challenging experience featuring encounters that can include bosses, puzzles, or exploration. These Operations require tight coordination and can take significant time to complete. Our first Operation takes place in SCP-354, the “Red Blood Pool.”
In Round Survival, strategy is key. Players face increasingly difficult waves of enemies, earning points to unlock new areas, upgrade weapons, and acquire SCP utility. The goal is not only to survive but also to complete a main quest line that unravels the mysteries of the level.
Our inaugural Round Survival level is set in SCP-1678, known as "Unlondon." This eerie, underground version of Victorian London is filled with threats like “SCP-1678-A” or “Bobbies” and hidden secrets. Following unexplained civilian casualties in London, the Foundation was alerted to unusual mobilization of Unlondon’s Bobbies, prompting an urgent investigation. It’s up to the players to confront these dangers and uncover the mysteries of Unlondon’s shadowy depths.
To enhance the experience, we’re focusing on challenging progression in the early rounds. We’re exploring ideas such as introducing new bosses or unlocking additional areas of the map at higher rounds, like 30, 50, or even 100, to create a sense of curiosity and achievement.
Operations is a high-stakes, 4-player mode inspired by complex raids found in games like Destiny. Each Operation features a series of encounters including formidable bosses, complex puzzles, and expansive exploration. Success requires tight coordination and communication among team members, as the challenges are designed to test your group’s skills to the limit.
The first Operation is set in SCP-354, known as the “Red Pool.” This ominous and ever-expanding pool serves as the backdrop for a challenging level where the environment itself is as dangerous as the entities emerging from it. As the pool grows at an alarming rate, concerns rise within the Foundation. Your mission is to venture into this hostile environment, face the dangers from the pool, and uncover the truth behind its rapid expansion.
In each encounter, all four players are essential. No single player can carry the team alone—everyone must contribute and work together. Communication and sharing unique perspectives or information are critical, as each encounter revolves around puzzles and mechanics requiring collaboration. Failure by any individual could lead to the team's downfall, making teamwork and coordination crucial to success.

Operations are designed to be lengthy and unforgiving, lacking hand-holding to provide a genuine sense of accomplishment upon completion. It’s an ultimate test of synergy and skill for those seeking a profound cooperative experience.
We decided to do Kickstarter as we realised that securing funding early would allow us to drastically improve key areas of our game, such as developing a dedicated story, creating fully playable characters, and truly bringing the SCP universe to life. With the support of our community, we can push the boundaries of what we envisioned, enhancing the depth and quality of the game to deliver an immersive experience that captures the essence of the SCP world.
On a personal note, the team would like to express our heartfelt gratitude for all the support we’ve received. It truly motivates us and pushes us to create the best game possible. Again thank you for all the support so far, it's an honour to be given the chance to work on a project like this.
